Judy! You're such an enabler! I found one on Amazon and ordered it. That doily is gorgeous!

Are there lots of other tatting patterns in the book, from Amazon?
Trust God to deliver in His own unique way.

Mine has not arrived yet, but, in her original post Judy says, "The Basic book of Macrame and Tatting. 1973 from Octopus Books Ltd. No author is identified. ISBN 0 7064 0172 7. Didn't expect much.. but was delighted to find some new patterns 40 pgs of macrame, 60 of tatting." Since it is the same book it should have the same patterns.

I ordered the book. I didn't check to see if there were individual patterns.

Ahh the octopus book - one of my earliest, always wanted to make that doily but I'm more of a short and sweet project type of gal
