Japanese Shuttle Tatting Books

I have a few too. the patterns are beautifully presented. I could pick out some words because some of it are Chinese characters so even if I don't really know how to read the whole thing, I get the gist of it. So far I haven't done any patterns yet, I am working with the patterns in other books I have. One of the recent one I purchased, I think it combines macrame as well in the tatting. One of these days, I am going to look at them closely.
