Default Heart For Misha Pattern Available!

Untitled.jpgWell - I've gone and done it now! Opened an Etsy shop and have actually called myself a...ahem..... tatting designer! Yikes! Scary move, but I did it and what do you know? Someone actually purchased the pattern! Imagine how exciting that was for me. : )

This pattern popped into my head when my beautiful Burmilla-baby Misha passed away in April last year. He was 14 and I missed him terrible after losing him. Some of the emotions translated into this pattern and I do love it.

Ladytats test-tatted this for me and has a wonderful rendition of this here. She accentuated the 'tears' on the bottom. I love what she did.

Uminstsuru and Michelle also had very unique versions of the heart. I thank these three wonderful test-tatters for your efforts! You helped me enormously in getting this out there, into Tat-land : )

Thought about this about a year ago, but lacked the courage to do anything about it. My mum had urged me to, and it is ironic that within a week of her passing away, I have done exactly that, here. Ain't life strange.

Good going! Sorry about losing your Mom and cat. Your creative juices can still flow freely, just give them a chance.

Thanks, Judy. I am just letting it happen - slowly.

Misha passed away last year and mum died last week.

So, the Misha heart was overdue. The one named after mum, I tatted last year, but now I have posted a pic of it on tat-ology and re-tatting and will write the pattern today or tomorrow. Then I will post it for free on my tat-ology. : ))

Thanks.. I'll be watching for the pattern.... I'm so sorry. I misread the first message and didn't realize that your mum's death was so recent. Keep reminding yourself of the good memories. Those are worth revisting. My mother was the last one of her generation to pass away.. all the aunts, and uncles and their spouses were gone, too. The finality of that realization -- that the next generation to go would be mine -- was a bit heart stopping, and called for some soulful conversations with my sister. My instinct is to get busy so I don't have time to think.
